Using the owners’ old family recipes, Yang Gao Gorn serves home-style Thai food that’s cooked from scratch the traditional way.
The menu includes staples like kai pa lo (hard-boiled eggs in brown sauce, starting B60), and beef curry (B180). Other old-time favorites include liver pâté with rice cake (B120) and hard-to-find jicama salad (yam bean/Mexican turnip salad B100).
They also make special dishes according to seasonal ingredients, like the rose apple flower salad (B220).
