Founded over a century ago in Croix, Northern France, Paul is now here too. It’s a big chain, for sure, but their products are surpisingly convincing (and the baguette even earned the top spot in our blind taste test). Best known for producing over 140 types of bread, the bakery empire has opened over 400 branches throughout the world, also specializing in pastries (millefeuille fraises), cakes (lemon and raspberry sponge cake) and croissants, as well as sandwiches and salads.
